As Winter takes hold we really get the chance to look at what structure the garden has to offer in terms of structure. I have a deep love of topiary and that really shines as the temperature drops but its also a great time to think about the bones. I find rose arbors really work within my cottage style garden and they offer a year round interest. These are some ones that i have built as i couldn't find the ones that i wanted. The same for peony supports, i wanted something that will be able to support the blooms but also add some year round structure when the plants die back to the ground, so after a few attempts i built these angular square enclosures.
